Following years of being known as the "pigman" this summer will be Philip Hicks' final with this handle!  God is sending Philip, Patti and Cody "on the road" for one full year - to minister in churches and prisons coast-to-coast and traveling with a pig is easier said than done!

Folks know the Hicks have been blessed with many gifts and talents and, quite frankly, they no longer need a pig....unless a client needs some pork for their bar-b-que!  No worries....their pig will NOT be eaten for he will be retired to a petting zoo where he'll be in hog heaven!

Why no pig? First of all, a pig just doesn't work when traveling in an RV!  Secondly, every state has different laws governing "agricultural" animals such as pigs due to the fear of a pig bringing swine flu, etc into their state!  No matter that theirs has been a performing pot-belly-pig, to the authorities a pig is a pig is a pig!  And every state requires costly veterinarian examinations, blood screenings, etc.

So, if you want to book Philip WITH a pig....it'll have to be BY    Sept 1, 2008 or it'll be too late!
